How does AA eat into my cell phone usage?

How much does using AA use up of my talk time or my data plan or both? Does using google maps eat up a lot of data plan if it is used on a continuous basis as in a long car trip?

It'll only use minutes if you're talking on your phone. It will use data so long as it is connected. Weather, nav, other now cards such as reminders, etc.

Long road trips could use tens of megabytes if your navigating or have maps screen open. Other usage is minimal.
