I was making up this theory at first that maybe Facebook advertisements can also drain our battery faster. I'm talking about apps, and those infographics found in our mobile phones. I would like to here some opinions from you experts, and get some info about this. Thanks :)

Welcome to Android Central! Which Facebook ads are you talking about? The ones that appear in your feed? If you turn video auto-play off in Facebook app's settings, that will prevent any video ad from automatically playing, and may therefore save some battery and data.

Yes it can drain your battery not because of the ad but because the app keep running in the background and waking up the cpu. You can try download wakelock detector and see which app that wakes your cpu.

Are you saying that the ad on your Facebook wall will cause the Facebook app to create more wakelocks? Or are we talking about a separate adware app associated with Facebook?
