How does it work? Does S6 lag in multitasking?

Hey guys and gals, an iPhone 5s' user is now speaking. I'm checking opinions and reviews about Galaxy S6 (it would be my second Android smartphone). I heard that even on 3 GB of RAM, Touchwiz can freeze or lag. May someone confirm that?

How does S6 work in texting, emailing, web browsing and listening the music (in multitasting mode)?

It doesn't lag for everyone. I have had no issues, then again I run the Nova Prime launcher instead of Ouchwhiz. Still, I'd suspect there are folks running Ouchwhiz with no lag.

The majority of complaints about Touchwiz lagging come from owners of older samsung devices who havent even tried the S6. My previous Samsung was an S5 and THAT hung, lagged, crashed and whatnot. The S6 however doesnt lag even with multitasking (and I mean even with actual Split Screen multitasking)

You might have a few niggles every now and then but apart from that the S6 is smooth. I initially did have a bit of lag but an update sorted that out.

How does S6 work in texting, emailing, web browsing and listening the music (in multitasting mode)?
I have no Idea about texting because I use whatsapp which runs smooth.
Email works great (both inbuilt email and gmail and outlook; I use both Outlook and Gmail)
Web browsing is as good on Chrome as it is on Safari (I do have an Iphone an i pad too; I personally find Safari annoying) I dont use the Inbuilt browser much because I prefer having integration with Chrome on my Laptop
Music works great on Google play music which I use and also on the inbuilt music player.

Using all of these together is not going to slow down your phone It will be as fast as the newer iphones and a lot faster than the 5S.

If you're shopping for a Galaxy, consider waiting for the S7 (launch event this Feb 21st) Even if you dont want the S7, the S6 will be sold at a cheaper price.

That's Just the launcher Unless you change your ROM you are still running Ouchwiz

My S5 never freezes or lags. So i bet the S6 will not. I always get buttery smooth 60fps animations on touchwiz.

The thing I notice with Multitasking is that it will have to restart apps when they should still be running. For example, if I'm in the middle of a post on Facebook and then I switch to a browser to look something up, then switch back to Facebook to finish the post, it will refresh the page and I will lose everything I typed. Or of I have a Web page that I'm reading and then switch to Facebook and make a post and then to back to the browser, it has to reload the page. I've even noticed it will reload a page if I switch tabs in a browser, which is pathetic. I like this phone but this is completely ridiculous that a phone with 3GB of RAM can't handle this. I also occasionally get keyboard lag. That's really the only thing I can complain about with this phone. The camera is awesome and the phone is fast and smooth.
