try the compass on the "quick tools" Edge App. it's an official app for the Edge by Samsung. it has a flashlight, ruler, and a great compass... free! it's preloaded in the edge apps. good luck

LOL, never explored all the Edge offerings. Love the compass. I lost track of home many times I wish I had a ruler with me. Now I do. Thanks a bunch folks.
