How does one Mark Unread an Sms mesage after opening it?

On S9+ and a few models before the ability to Mark Unread and sms message so you can remind yourself of its contents or actions you need to do from it seems to not exist, you have to send it to yourself again and then remember not to open it!! It used to exists on earlier Android systems, any ideas as to how to do this...

There's no option like that.
One thing you can do is set a reminder.
Long press on a message and the option is there.
