How does Snapchat function on the Honor 8?

Hello everyone.
So I'm considering putting in an order for a Honor 8 (free Huawei Watch in the deal, isn't that something), and I was wondering if you guys had any experience with it running Snapchat. I heard the Huawei P9 had some problems with dropped frames during video recording, and loss of quality when taking pictures due to the dual camera setup. I use Snapchat quite a lot, and was hoping you could tell me how the Honor handles it. If you could post screenshot of some of your snaps, that would be perfect!
Thank you in advance, and have a lovely day!

re:

Mind sharing where you found the Huawei watch deal?

Hopefully someone can chime in for you. I've never heard of this being a problem, but I don't use snapchat, either.

re:

Unfortunately, it's a local deal here in Denmark :( To be fair, the Honor is actually about 500$ here, but I think it's still a pretty good deal.

I just heard of the 3rd party camera app problems on the P9, nothing about Honor 8. But it seems plausible, as I can't imagine Snapchat being able to use two sensors at once. Not yet, at least. Have you guys tried using other 3rd party apps, Instagram, Messenger etc. to take pictures? Thanks for your replies :)

re:

The Snapchat usage is decent. Recording a video can look a little blurry but I have seen worse. The snaps of your friends loads fast. Overall a good experience.

It's pretty good. A bit of lag but the picture quality is good. Slow to bring up keyboard and sometimes swiping between filters can be a pain.

Combining these 2 answers in to 1 "best answer" ;)

I came THISCLOSE to getting 1 myself, but I'm pretty happy with my One Plus Three! But the Honor 8 is an awesome phone from what I have seen of it! :)

Snapchat (and Instagram Stories) video recording is out of sync with the audio, for me. Anyone else experiencing this? The app works decently enough otherwise. Detecting my face and using the silly filters is faster than my Oneplus One was.
