yea, my Family are in R.Va. as well and I'm in South Fl. Both down

the storm took out power to many some predicted for a week and the regular phone lines were out for a while too, have relatives near Arlington no contact for a while

Haven't had any issues with text messaging.

Alexandria VA here...landlines and cell still touch and go. Text and data work though.
