How does the calendar app handle Exchange calendars?

I'm looking into this phone but I want to learn more about how it handles Exchange mail and calendars as they're a big part of my day. I have a single calendar setup on my Exchange account with specific color categories assigned to different appointments... does the calendar app respect these colors? Does it also provide full month, week, and day views? I ask because I was disappointed to learn that Windows Phone 8 does not respect the colors of the appointments--every appointment gets the same color regardless of what it is on Exchange/in Outlook, and it also doesn't provide month or week views.

I don't believe it supports color coded appointments. It doesn't even code mine for "out of office," "tentative," etc. It does let you color code the entire calendar.

Dang, that is quite the bummer. Does anyone know of any third party apps that can do this?
