how fix problem in Le X522. my messages has stooped error

when i open the phone one message coming on screen " sorry,but message has stopped.Report this issue now?
and i could not able to any action perform. please inform me how fix this problem.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Apps​, select the Messages app, tap Storage, then Clear Cache. Now see if the problem persists.
