CINCINNATI -- A wireless company is offering a big reward for anyone who finds a missing green man.

Cricket Wireless said Monday that a promotional costume for the Android smartphone operating system has gone missing.

The costume, called "Mr. Android Costume," was lost somewhere between Florence, Ky., and Mason on Jan. 7. The company thinks it may have blown off the back of the pickup truck it was in somewhere on Interstate 75 or 71.

Cricket is offering a $1,000 reward for the costume's return. The costume is worth about $4,500.

The costume is described as round and green with "foam tendencies."

Don't look now, fellow trekkies, but the AC logo looks a LOT like that defiant little alien! And, check the beedy little eyes, the head akimbo, the arms stubbornly folded, the left leg challenging the next step, and, YES!... that green costume is present. If ANYONE makes an offer on the little fella, I humbly suggest that Android Central should foot the bill for an excellent contract shark. We shouldn't be takin' any chances at this juncture! He belongs to US, now! And we don't take others makin' pot shots at our ranks any too litely!

Just let 'em know that we support the defection a 1000% and stand by our guy! REALLY, now! They couldn't pop for a limo? Transport with a pickup truck?! WTF?! Chirp, chirp to THAT, wireless company! :D
