How I store my S Pen

So I was just messing around the other day and noticed that the clip on the S Pen attached to the magnet on the book cover case. So I started storing my S Pen there when not in use and it's just laying flat on a table or charging.

I think it was intended to store that way. I'm just afraid I'll put it in my briefcase and it will come off and get lost.
