How is LG for releasing updates

Hi all how is LG for sending out security and software updates for a Factory Unlocked phone?

My V20 is still on Decembers security 2016 patch:'(

I am using ATT

I got the AT&T patch in mid April too. You should have it by now. Go to an AT&T store and inquire.

I just got off the phone with ATT advanced tech dept and they got a case to get it resolved wow how nice to talk to someone who speaks english!

I called ATT, LG Google, LG, LG Google and LG kept hanging up on me and google said its LG LG said it ATT and I finally got a hold of the right person at ATT to get it pushed out to my phone soon.

did receive only one security patch (March) then never again any updates with my V20

but you don't buy the V20 for updates , you buy for it's features (MIL Spec, Quad DAC, Infrared, Miracast, FM Radio, Removeable Battery etc )

if you want quick and fast updates for your mobile look Google Pixel phones.

I agree we buy our devices for the features they provide. But I don't think we should have to sacrifice security updates just because of those features. Maybe that's just me.

The app for the FM radio (on a Sprint V20, anyway) is called NextRadio. The problem? You have to be online to use it. It won't run in Airplane Mode. What's up with that?!?

No problem, you don't have to be on line to use the FM radio on Sprint. Next Radio has 2 different apps.. 1 for Ota radio stations and 1 for streaming.. I used the FM tuner all the time on my v20 and have to use their streaming version for my HTC u-11.

Hmm... I can't see more than one NextRadio app by the same developer. It does have a tuner-only mode. However, I can't get it to work, online or offline, streaming or tuner. (Yes, I have earphones plugged in.)
