How is my battery life?

So compared to maybe some of the best times you've had how does this compare for battery life? I'm pretty content with 3 days without charging!

I know other topics have been posted but I was also wondering if mine was abnormal or pretty much expected

How long did you use it? Best way to check is your screen on time. Just charged mine so I'm full. I get about two good nights of solid use out of it.

I use it for about 2 to 3 hours a night before I go to sleep with it on sleep mode about 8 hours a day plus the time I'm asleep

I use it for a few hours in the evening and usually during my lunchbreak, as well as for streaming music from Google Play for a few hours at my desk. I have to charge every night, I'm usually down to 20% or so when I go to bed, although if I play a bit of Galaxy on Fire 2 then it causes my battery to crater impressively quickly.

Same here. For normal usage (including watching streaming video), I can usually get about 6 hours of screen time out of it plus whatever I tend to want of standby time. So that generally works out to 2 days of average use for me.

Now that I've discovered the addiction that is Radiant Defense, those times have dropped a bit, and my Nexus tends to get a bit warm. But, hell, battery life ain't everything, and I'm still very happy with the battery life.

EDIT to add DISCLAIMER: My other primary Android device is an HTC Thunderbolt with the huge extended battery. So my expectations for battery life may differ from yours. (grin)

I'm around the same, although sometimes I dont use it as much and can squeak 2 days out of the battery. I get around 6 hours of screen on time total.

Same here. To the OP: don't let your battery level get down too low (below 15 percent) or you could mess up the battery's life. I charge mine each night even if the battery is down to 85 percent.

I noticed a remarkable improvement in battery life since getting the Poetic case, before I had the sleep set at 5min and when laying the tablet down 5 minutes had to expire before going to sleep, and I now with the case I have the sleep set at 30min but as soon as I close the lid on the Poetic the auto-sleep function makes the battery last much longer.

For Me it completely and totally depends on how I'm using it for the day. Some days when I give it moderate use it will and can give me like 20 hours out of it. Other days when I'm using it a bit more, I can get maybe 8-9 out of it. All depends really. I'm happy with the battery life though.

Nothing. Li-Ion batteries don't like to be completely drained, but modern ones have a cutoff so the device turns off before charge reaches zero. But plenty of people incorrectly believe that means they shouldn't run their device down to nothing.
