How is the Note 10/10+ convert handwriting to text feature different from Note 8?

Is there any difference of the Note 10/10+ convert handwriting to text feature vs Note 8 convert handwriting to text feature?

Or Note 9. I just converted some yesterday on my N9. Easy-peasy. I don't understand the hype around this one yet. Maybe there is something more there than meets the eye?

If you listened to the unpack event, they have been using the note 8 and note 9 to take hand writing samples!

There is a few changes to make it special. the main one i saw was that without your hand writing being converted you can still search for a word.
