How is the S 4 working with car USB?

My Note 2 and the S 3 don't work with the USB port in my car, 2012 Honda Accord, really at all. It charges sort of but won't play back music. My iPhone 5 works great for both. Any improvements in the S 4? The car doesn't support Bluetooth streaming for music, only speakerphone.

I used it with mine today and it was a no go. The iphone however worked flawlessly, oh well i love the galaxy too much too care.

I'm hoping the S4 works better in my 2012 Kia Soul than my iPhone 4, which doesn't work at all through USB.

The only way I have been able to play my S4 through my 2010 Soul is by using an adapter that has a headphone plug on each end and using the USB port just to charge the S4. Plays fine but there are limited controls on the steering wheel that work. Not as elegant as using the iPhone adapter but so far I have not found an equivalent adapter for the S4. Perhaps in time...
