I have now seen many reviews & am getting excited :-) I would however like to know how the signal phone strength is. I have had many Samsung phones in the past, where I have had mostly terrible signal strength compared to other phones. Anyone know

Strange, my Instinct had great reception.

Back in the dumbphone era (before iPhones made smartphones mainstr3am and cool), I always got Samsung because their reception was amazing.

My intercept and my dumbphone both got great reception. I doubt there is anything to worry about here.

My Pre gets great reception. With the Roam Only patch, that is.

Reception on my pre is how the droid 2 was eacribed by engadget: randomly switching between strength and speed.

From my experience of phones over the 12 years I have had them... The lower the S.A.R. Radiation level the worse the connection..

I know Samsung's generally tend to be lower on the S.A.R. Levels. My instinct was terrible in buildings!!! My family's and wife's samsung's also had terrible coverage when farther away from cell towers. I will note. The build quality was never an issue on the samsung's.

CNET has the Epic at .68 or something like that for the S.A.R. Level.

My son's Intercept has great reception...better than my Bold, and about the same as my EVO. Hoping the Epic is the same.
