How is the speaker quality on the LG G5?

How well do the speakers perform on the LG G5?

It's much improved over the G3/G4 in the fact that it's much louder. I haven't noticed much breakup at louder volumes but haven't pushed it with complex music passages either. It's no Boom Sound, and you don't get a lot of bass but that's true for most every phone. Easy to turn something on, hop in the shower and hear clearly over the water noise without having to spend time focusing on information.

It's just one speaker on the bottom but it is fairly clear and louder than the boomsound on the m8/m9. It serves its purpose but you wont get cool stereo like with the boom sound. It you use the phone in landscape mode your hand will cover the speaker naturally and block the speaker. Its not as cool as the m8/m9 boomsound at all but it is still fit for purpose basically and very loud/clear.

I actually preferred the speakers on the G3 and G4, it is very easy to block the speakers where they ar currently located.

Loud and clear. Very loud but it remains clear as you increase the volume. I'm impressed.
