How is there no native google podcast app?

Am I missing something? It seems like this is a basic feature that google should offer.

I'm guessing it's because, for them, YouTube should the main Podcasting platform. So, to them, YouTube IS their podcast app (I know, it's not... I won't go there haha but it's just how they see it)
