In my past experiences with the Note 8.0, I remember it was a smooth and solid tablet. However, the G Pad 8.0 looks very promising, so I would give that a try.

If you are referring to the G Pad 8.3, then yes, it has a 1920x1200 Full HD display.

If you are referring to the G Pad 8.0, then no, it has the same resolution as the Note 8 (1200x800).

8.3 is what I'm referring to. But, worst case, how is the Note 8.0's display? I have a Note 2 and think that looks great.

Maybe I'm biased, but I've been completely satisfied with the G Pad 8.3. Customized the hell out of it and it keeps up with my multitasking. The display is fantastic. It's my go-to for reading and videos. Newegg has the G Pad for $249 right now.

I just got the g pad 8.3 today and I could not be happier! Great screen, features, light weight, easy to Hold in 1 hand, and relatively fast I got mine from eBay for 230 brand new but if you want a Google edition I would recommend the g pad even more.
