How long can I expect my G4 to last?

I have an LG G4 and it's running like a dream (except for some issues with extra batteries) but I know that eventually even solid state electronics fail. I've had it for about 1 or 2 years and it's pretty much in mint condition except for the modification I made to give it wireless charging (replaced nfc sticker with nfc and wireless sticker). I was wondering how much longer I can expect the phone to last (not the batteries since they can be replaced). I want to know so that I can have some time to search for a new phone with a replacable battery. It will probably take a bit of time since companies aren't including that much anymore in favor of waterproofing and good looks (I don't care for either really. I just want a phone that can run games well and that won't be dragged down by a failing internal battery). Thanks in advance for advice and help.

Unfortunately, user replaceable batteries are no longer available on any current devices. Your best option would be to find an LG V20 of you want a device that is newer than your LG G4. Since the V20 has been discontinued, the chances of finding new ones from online sellers is difficult these days.

My Motorola V552, from 2004, still works fine. My MicroTAC, from 1989 still works (and the battery - which can no longer be obtained - still has just a drop of life left in it.

Aside from replacing batteries, your G4, if you don't drop it or get it wet, should last until the industry moves so far that it's useless (like my MicroTAC [no more 1G] and V551 [AT&T no longer uses 2G]). I give it about 10 years from now. My Note 3s are still working fine the minute I pop a registered SIM into one of them - and they're from 2014. (And I've beaten on them unmercifully electronically - ROMS, TWRP, all sorts of things.)

Mine lasted from launch until I traded it in for a discount on the Samsung Note 7 months ago. I had no problems with the phone up until the day I mailed it off as a sacrifice to the Samsung gods.
