Hi all,

After watching T-Mobile's announcement today, I fear that AT&T and Verizon may follow suit and create this ridiculous "unlimited" plan that's full of caveats.

I still have my old grandfathered in unlimited plan from 2009 and I plan to keep it until AT&T forces me to give it up. Do you guys know how long I can keep my old plan?

No idea, but I've seen grandfathered plans from 2007 (yeah, impressive, huh?) so I don't think they'll be forcing you to anything. They might entice you with devices or by limiting promos you can access with grandfathered plans, though.

Thanks for the reply! They can't tempt me to give it up because I always buy unlocked phones. What they could do in the future is to limit bandwidth on non-AT&T devices. It'd be a sad day if this did happen.
