I have had the V30 since October 2017 and I really like the phone a lot. I just wish they released Oreo sooner.

Based on info on the web, they already released Oreo in Korea, what's taking so long? Had anyone heard anything?

Are you on a carrier? If so you have to wait for your carrier.

Does anyone know if the v30 will ever allow dual audio connection for bluetooth, like the Note 8 does? Possibly when Oreo is available for the v30?

Yep. It's a feature of Bluetooth 5.0 that came along with Oreo.

Carriers will usually dictate when software updates will get pushed to your device.

Based on experience, manufactures usually give the newest flagship the current OS first so they have a selling point. Typically after 6 months to 1 year, they give OS updates to older devices. But based on experience with Samsung phones, updates make the phone slower for some reason, sometimes slashing features and adding more bloatware.

After the iPhone slow down incident and Note 4s mysteriously dying at the same time after updating, everyone needs to be smart and do research before updating right away. (2 friends had to throw away their beloved Note 4s after a final forced update laid it to rest).
