How long does it take to restart your phone?

It takes mine a couple minutes. And then it optimizes apps every time

How many times has this happened? There have been a couple of Google Play system updates lately, so if you've only noticed this the last couple of times, it may be that the update was downloaded in the background, and when you restarted it, that triggered the update to install (and therefore the apps to optimize).

No optimisation.***

I guess that Samsung have taken to forcing the app optimisation on users phones. I would have thought that after a few of those optimisations that this would cease.

Samsung optimizes app after every reboot, regardless of any system updates? I haven't seen that on my Galaxy A32 5G running Android 13.

Yeah and Home UI , maybe because I don't reboot my phone often, my 23u and Fold 4
