Give or take. It was May 23rd for the 16 gb and July 3 for the 32 gb.

Yeah Verizon was way behind the ball last year and 6 weeks late on the GS4 32GB is a joke. I am on a pre-paid right now so I can at least have dial tone and make calls until the 32GB GS5 comes along. If it doesn't I will hold out for something else. GN4 perhaps.

I do use my phone for a lot of work related tech information, carry only a handful of time filler games and leave my big games on a tablet. Still I need space, power and battery life.

I have 0 games on mine, and i use safestrap. i have about 1.4gb available which means i am always having to delete stuff. i am unable to rent tv shows or movies and save them on my device since i am so low on memory. Being limited is very annoying, so bad i will switch to my 32gb s3 for when i travel.

Trying to decide if I want to wait for the 32GB version; on Verizon so it could be a while. I don't have any problem putting my music on an SD card but will I take a performance hit having my photos saved directly to the SD card?

What you are saying may apply to you but you keep trying to apply it to everyone else. 16gb phones are useless to many people. Including me.

Agreed, 16gb is a waste of money. Today's top of the line devices need internal storage for apps. Some apps take up lots of space, 32gb is a must with the sd-card. Without sd-card 64gb is preferred. Also waiting for the 32gb model.

No issues with your photos going to a SD card. Just get a good one.

Ok, I don't like Sprint myself but this is wrong. Sprint did in fact launch a 32gb version of the S3. I know because I have it

If Sprint doesn't offer the 32gb version of the S5, I'll wait for the Note 4. If the Note 4 isn't offered with 32gb, then I'll jump ship to Verizon. I may jump to Verizon with the S5 though....contemplating it.

Play TV and play movies only allow you to download to the internal memory. So when I try to save a TV for offline viewing I get the whole out of memory message. I have a 64gb sdcard and I have about 29gb available. I have a lot of music, pictures and at least 2 full phone back ups.

I'm going for the S5. I'm going to use the Edge program with the 16GB and wait and see if Samsung decides to release a premium type device. If they do, I'll get the 32gb in that bad boy. Hopefully my local store will have some available as I didn't pre-order.

How did you get it to save to your sdcard? i just found FolderMount and i was able to figure it out. i am just worried i will not be able to do the same thing with kitkat.

I am going to try to wait for the 32gb, but i have a feeling i will not be able to wait. I also plan on using the edge program, but i dont like the idea of having to turn in a phone.

Geeze, I can't imagine using all of my 16GB being that I have a 32GB sd card. On the S5 all pictures automatically save to the sd card unless it's burst mode and any playlists I want saved to my phone go on the card also. I guess I'm just not a power user
