I just noticed this. Do I need to activate it or is it a waste of battery and time?

I bought mine unlocked from Samsung directly and never had this option on my carrier versions of the note.

Well I turned it on to see if it can be turned off lol , I reset device care that didn't do it , so now you gave me something to look into a little later:)

Well, at least they're not using Qihoo 360 Security any more.:-\

In order to protect it has to be active and running.

McAfee is a lot more trustworthy than what they use to have to offer. But, no I don't think it is needed or wanted. If I did, I'd first turn to Malwarebytes and AdGuard Pro.

The option isn't on my t-mobile. During setup I told not to do McAfee..Did you? If not wonder if it is the McAfee and you have to disable it?
