How long is it ok to have phone powered off?

If battery level is good, how long is it ok to keep powered down? If I switch between using different phones, should I keep S22U on and just check to see when it needs to be charged up or is it better to power down and charge when needed?

No point in keeping it on. Just do updates when you turn it back on

It would theoretically prolong the S22's battery life if you powered it down and only charged it periodically when necessary. It's generally advisable to store the phone with the battery at around 50% charge (rather than 100%).

I've heard 80% then store it but probably either way ok

I don't think you go wrong either way especially for longer periods of storage
