Just as subject says. It is time to recharge, after first 8 hours initial one,
recommended by the manual.
One article fancies 3.5 hours. I do not leave it in sleep mode, but power
it down every time I do not use it.
Best regards all.

Thanks for the link.
After all, I'll let it charge for 4 hours and do not look
at % meter.
Ant news on otg and usb stick?
Best regards.

The ASUS manual says that the device/charger will NOT automatically stop charging when battery is fully charged - and specifically says NOT to leave the device plugged in after it is "full".

That linked article is mostly good info, but not all devices are as "smart" about charging...

Woops!
Did not read manual carefully, have to admit.
I just turn off the device, when not in usage. Cannot say what is
the status of battery, that's it. I set my hand on the charger and
find it cold as snake. Hope it has something with stopping the
process.
Thank you for answer.

Edit:
I found part about charging and think it is hard to comment on.
It says it charges as long as it is connected. Not that it cannot
finish charging process, just it charges as long as plugged in.
Next, do not leave it plugged on after it is charged fully. Memopad
is not designed to stay on power line for a long period. Again,
I see no indication it cannot stop the process. I read it literally.
And have no clue any more, than before. I assume you are right
and I will not charge it prolonged next time.

Takes about 3 hours for a full charge (after initial 8 hour charge) Use Battery Doctor (free) to monitor. It will go into a trickle charge state when it's full so you don't need to babysit the charge & have to worry about an overcharge condition (not sure if that's even a real thing, but not willing to test it either)

Although the manual states the device is not to be left charging for long periods (how long?) my device does show the device ceases to charge when it reaches 100% according to the screen widget.
