i have at least 10 known and unknown news, weather, chat programs running in the background. they were doing fine, but for the last two days, it rebooted itself three times. it has restarted a few times before, but not as frequently as now.

i wonder if it is because too many apps are running or if it is the tablet's problem?

anyone else has problems while running too many apps?

I your question is "what's causing the reboot problem?" my guess is that it has something to do with Chrome. When I first got my N& I would randomly re-boot about once a week. After re-loading Chrome and several Chrome updates the problem disappeared and has not re-surfaced for many months.

For what its worth, I also power down each night. The morning re-boot might have some restorative action.

Its all a bit of a mystery!

i actually don't use the chrome browser all the time at all. i use the apps most of the time. after every repair, i probably install a few new apps, and i don't know if some of them are causing my rebooting problems or not.

and i don't know if asus actually did any repair to my tablet, they maybe just did factory reset everytime i sent it for a repair. i can't check the inside.

The number of apps is likely not an issue, but if you don't know what each of these apps is, why are they on your system? If I decide I don't want an app I uninstall it immediately. Since the Play store is not curated like Apple and MS, the quality can be all over the map, and I don't want some weird behavior because I was too lazy to uninstall an app.

I would suggest doing a factory reset which I know you have done many times before... Except this time do not allow it to restore your previous apps and do not download any for a week. If everything is OK then download apps you use from the play store like one or two a day. Do not download any of the apps you got from outside of the Play Store. This will help you isolate the source of the problem.
