Or wait were you showing your S3? Your post before was on another page so.. I could see the confusion if that's the case.. The post with the screenshots make it sound like it's from the Note 3.

You got 8 hours of screen usage and 25 hours overall on one charge. Why would you have to charge your phone 5 times a day?

If some of these people worked for me I would fire there A$$ .... I would also Divorce them or Disown a family member if they spent that much time on a phone .... way too much time & money there LOL! Get a life

Well as a student, it's either use your phone to accomplish certain tasks like reading notes, power points, sending files and emails, or use a laptop all day, and I choose to use my phone to accomplish certain tasks because it's easy to do
So you only get 8 hours on that battery? I've seen people get 7 with a stock battery...What the heck are you doing that kills the battery so much?
8 Hours screen on time, over 24 in general
Alot of background processes, email, twitter, Instagram, Tapatalk, and tons of others
Still, your battery is more than twice the capacity yet barely get more than the stock battery.

On stock I got maybe 2 hours screen on with maybe 12 in general before having to charge. Thank goodness I upgraded to a extended

That's what I bought, (2) replacement batteries and a charger. A few weeks ago it was only $3.99, thats what I got it for. It's still only $16.99.
The batteries work great, I get home.. swap out batteries, 100%.. good to go! I also have a new trent external charger, but I don't even use that anymore, or my stock charger.

2 hours??? That's insanely low dude, something is wrong here...The worst I've seen gets like 4 hours of screen time, best was almost 8 and you get nowhere near either of these.

If my daughter did all that social media crap when I put her through Purdue, I would have taken her smartphone away & given her a flip phone for sure .... I fact I would not allow any phone in your possession!
There are options to turn all that crap off during school & study hours!
I had a little sympathy when you said you were a student & then POW, it hit me & what I went through many years ago with my daughter .... your name fits you well!

Why would I want to turn off my social media apps? There's alot of time between classes, and during lunch breaks in which those apps keep me up to date with what's going on while I was in the classroom, lol.
Social media apps, when used correctly, are very beneficial. It certainly isn't crap
Even if you aren't satisfied with how long the battery lasts, I don't know of many mobile devices that charge as fast as the N3 does. If you're not seeing the faster charge times, I recommend using a 3.0 USB cable, preferably the one that came with the device.
Then you'll definitely want to consider the charge times as well as the battery depletion times. If I'm charging my device and not using it for anything, I can probably get a full charge in about 3-4 hours. I've seen it go from about 70% to 100% in less than an hour.
