How many use screen protectors?

I got a tempered glass one for less than 3 bucks from one banggood, shipping from china included. Seriously, go for tempered glass, if you buy them straight from china, they aren't that expensive and the results are MUCH better

I personally have never used a screen protector. Always purchase a "soft case" (more stylish) and a "rugged" case for general use.

I just don't like the look of the screen protectors.

A lot of smartphones these days do come with Corning Gorilla Glass but Tampered Glasses and Screen Protectors aren't any expensive either, Never hurts to spend a few more bucks just to be sure.

I always use a screen protector...if our hand is dirty and touch the screen...I can't even image that..
anyway,my point is that screen protector is necessary!

I do because scratches make your phone sell for way less money
Depends on what your device is and how much its worth. Right now I have the LG Phoenix 2. It costs $99. Not really worth the extra money to put a case on abs screen protector. So I just have a case.

I use to feel the same way as you about screen protectors, but as long as you get a decent tempered glass protector, it will feel like the glass screen and nice and smooth.

I always use screen protectors. Glass when I can and film if it's the only good option (like on this S7e).

use tempered glass protector, I had one on my lenovo for almost 2 years now and still no scratches

I personally never ever go without tempered glass screen protectors because if i ever decide to sell my phone i want it to be in mint condition

That's a good idea. However, I don't sell my devices any longer. I just trade then in to get a new one when upgrading. So I'm not that concerned if there are small scratches on the screen.

I was using my LG-V10 bare for about a month, and then applied a tempered glass protector and I can not feel or see any difference. Is there any reason not to?

I think they are completely useless for scratches, but maybe they are needed if you for some reason often get water/oils on the screen.

Phone's screens are already scratch resistant enough, and anything that may scratch the screen will definitely scratch through the protector, which is by definition thinner and softer that the phone's screen.

I could see that in the case of deep gouging. What about finer scratches... like wiping finer dust / powder like gains of sand off the glass protector? Would that scratch through?
