went to order the fascinate last night about 11cst. it was showing 299 with a100 mail in rebate. didn't want to deal with the mail in rebate so figured I'd call telesales this morning since they usually give the instant rebate. they said they could only pre order and wouldn't ship till tomorrow. checked online again and now it's showing 100 instant online discount. ordered with free overnight, so hopefully it'll get here tomorrow. that'll make my wife very happy.

I buy pretty much every Android phone that comes out. As for the old phone (which is the Droid X), I usually sell it at about a 20-25% loss on Ebay. To make up for the loss, I've ditched Comcast and expense my cellphone bill. I consider new phones my form of entertainment expenses. If I don't like the Fascinate, I'll just send it back and continue to use my X, but typically I enjoy the newness each phone provides.

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that the NE2 discount used to be $100, but got reduced to $50. I guess it all depends on your contract date.

They told me I got the $100 because I had been on the same 450 minute voice, unlimited data plan for several years and will stay that way as long as I continue the plan. My wife is on a $20 voice only plan. She doesn't use even 10 minutes a month. Only uses her phone for emergencies.

That sounds right now that you have said that. We started out years ago on a 2000 minute plan then got bumped to a 2100 minute and then we dropped it down to 1400 minute. I bet we don't even use half that everyone in our circle is Verizon now.

Hmm. I seem to remember mine being $100 but I read it was $50. I have not ordered mine yet as my NE2 was not up until 9/23. They are going to call me tomorrow morning and let me order early. They would not let me pre-order
