I think it would be great for brutal Florida Winters here.
It's hard to use a phone with mittens.

I have to second this one. My mittens dont leave my hands for a second in the winter time here. Lol

If I get the Note 7 (I've had every Note to date but turned off by the edge screen) I doubt I'll ever use it, but I'll try it out just to see how it works.

After learning about how the secure feature (secure folders, secure browser, etc) only works with the iris scanner I'm revising my answer. Anything I do that requires a password I'll log in with the iris to use the secure areas of the phone, and for the things I don't use a password for (basic web browsing, picture taking, etc) I'll probably just go with the fingerprint reader for...
