Just got the EVO View, which I believe is 32GB model.

Total Space: 19.80GB
Available space: 19.74GB

Internal Storage:
Available space 7.55GB

I suppose the rest is used my OS/System?

Thanks.

This is the same for my View 4g. In addition my total memory says 805 mb when i look under the Task Manager. I'm guessing that's the RAM? My About Tablet specs say 1 gb RAM though... I m confused about this and the Storage (19gb tablet/ 7gb internal) specs aswell. Hope this is normal.

Under Settings > Storage this is what I get.

Internal storage
Total space - 7.88gb
Applications - 500mb
Available - 7.39gb

SD card (I added a 32gb card)
Total space - 29.71gb
Available - 22.96gb

Tablet storage
Total space - 19.81gb
Downloads 7.44mb
Pictures, Videos - 31.12mb
Audio - 32.00kb
Misc. - 6.82gb
Available - 18.96gb

Under USB storage it says "Unavailable" so I'm not sure what that's for.

Also, when I inserted my 32gb sd card I went to applications and moved all of the apps but one to the SD card that could be moved. It seems to use the internal memory as the SD card for apps. When I go to Astro, there is an ext_sd location which is the SD card I inserted. At the root I also saw listed sdcard and sdcard2. "sdcard" included ext_sd, "sdcard2" took me right to the external card.

Whatever is going on, I should have enough storage for whatever I'd do with this thing but it would be nice to understand it better.

I have one on the way to me, got it NIB off of eBay so when it arrives I will be happy to help answer this question. I chose to get the Evo View over the HTC Flyer for the extra memory since I am a happy Verizon customer ;)

I just got my Evo View last night and this is what I see for the memory configuration. I will pop the SD card in tonight and see what it then tells me or if anything changes. I will be rooting this weekend and of course killing off the 3G/4G radios :)
