In december I got the Photon Q (for my wife) and the EVO 4G LTE (for me) both free via Best Buy, one in store special and one online Special.
Spent so far: $0.00
On Jan. 2nd, I exchanged my EVO 4g LTE for the Optimus G which had a store price difference of 100.00, however, I argued that since I was returning my EVO (bought online) to the store for a Store phone, that they should honor the instore cost of the EVO, which they did, and I got the Optimus G for 50.00
Spent so far: $50.00
A couple weeks later (last Friday) me and my wife decided to add my mother in law to our plan, and Amazon had a deal for the Galaxy Note 2 for $170.00 with a new ,line (or 150.00 if you upgraded, which we already did.) My plan was to add the new Line, buy the Note 2, have Best Buy match Amazon's Price and then swap numbers bwteen the OPtimus G and the Note 2. Problem: Mother in law wanted the EVO... so I called Best Buy and told them I wanted to Exchange my Optimus back for the EVO and just exchanged a month earlier, have them match the Amazon Price, and swap the numbers. They said thy would.
That Sunday, we went into the Best Buy to do this, and I was told they stopped matching Amazon, but after talking to the manager, the girl helping me said they would. Now, My Optimus G was selling for 100.00 in store at this time and I expected to get a 100.00 Credit for that phone to apply to the Note 2. At this time the girl also decided I would get a better deal If instead of simply adding the Note 2 to my bill.. I started a new second account, Got the Note 2 for 150.00, then had it added to my current Sprint account. So Note 2 was now $150.00 in stead of 170.00, per her advice.
We were almost done with the entire transaction when I was told that the EVO was going to also cost me 50.00 ( the price had gone up since Friday, 2 days ealier.
I then told them I did not want to spend the extra, as I was told on Friday that the deal I was in there for could be done. Shocked they asked if I really wanted to cancel the deal (and all the work she had done. I said yes. The manager then came up and asked me If I would go half way on the EVO, and I said no, that I will cancel getting the Note 2 and just get the EVO... a few minutes later, they started ringing up the Note 2... and the EVO for free...

I paid another 50.00.
Total Spent: $100.00 for my Galaxy Note 2
