With t mobile jump on demand one can upgrade to a new phone without any penalty up to 3 times a year as long as the touch screen is not cracked, no water damaged, and it powers on.

so T-Mobile doesn't charge you extra for handing over a phone with cracked glass back cover? seems very generous to me!
