The Motorola X phone is said to cost less than rivaling phones. Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside said that the $650 price tag won't persist and that Motorola is going to change that. Do you think Motorola will sell the X phone for $300-$450 or higher? What price do you think they will offer (No contract obviously)

If it goes to the carriers (as evidenced by FCC docs), I imagine prices will be between $100 to $200 on-contract. Maybe full retail goes no higher than $500 - and I expect there to be a "Google Edition" model as I am not expecting the MOTO X to ship to carriers as a "Nexus Experience" device.

Are we expecting it on the play store? I will venture 400-500.

If the Moto X has Google Edition the price will be same as the full retail oem version. Now a Nexus 5 based on a Moto X ah la Nexus 4 then that's a entirely different story.

I would be surprised/impressed to see a sub $500 X-phone. It's a little more expensive to make phones in Texas than it is in a Taiwanese sweat shop.

I'm thinking it's going to be in line with everything else right now, around $600. As stated above, it's not cheap to have it made in the US. Take the Nexus Q, for example.
