how much would it cost to get the motherboard fixed on a LG G3

The repair shop thought my screen was the problem, so they charged mt to get it fixed. Before I Ieft the phone went black again. So he checked it & said it was the motherboard. I want to know if there will be additional charges because the lady waiting on me said she would call me tomorrow.

It depends on the contract with the repair shop. If you paid them x dollars to get your phone in working order then it shouldn't cost you anymore. But if you just paid them to replace the screen then you would have to pay them to fix the mobo

They said that they still have my screen that they replaced. $90 But since it's not the screen they said that they would put the old screen back in. They want to keep it overnight to monitor it. Now I know nothing about Motherboard repairs, so I wanted to know if I would have to pay more money? Average cost of motherboard repair in case they try to tell me it's an even cost $90 or more than

Personally I wouldn't spend $90 to repair a g3.

I picked up a Moto g 2016 for $125 (amazon version)

"Guess-pare" is expensive. If they don't give you a "you'll get the phone back in working order" price, they can "it's this", "no, it's that", "no, it's a different thing" you to an early grave. If they guarantee a working phone, go for it. If not, you can get a gently used one for US$70 and up, so I wouldn't put another penny into it.

First of all. You can get a fairly used for that price. Or get a broken screen phone around $40-$50 on eBay and switch the board. I was using ls990 and had a damaged emmc. I just bought a broken screen vs985 and switched the board for $38.
