How often do your wireless earbuds get signal drop?

Hello,

I've just purchased a pair of wireless earphones last week.

https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-He...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6719233

That's the one I'm using. I haven't used it that much. And probably won't use it very often. However, I've been testing it and found two annoying issues:

- The sound would drop (in either one) sometimes when I listen to music on YT, usually for a split second. It happens really fast, but I could tell the signal was disrupted in one. Happens randomly, not too frequently, yet, but still noticeable. Even when I have my phone right next to me. Might get worse when I am walking around. Still checking. How common is this for other earbuds?

- There was a few times when the earbuds just get disconnected altogether, and I have to turn off Bluetooth, put the earbuds in the case and take it out, reconnect it again. Not sure what the problem really is. Usually when I walk around, perhaps a little far away from the phone. If this gets worse, I'll ask for a return.

So, how common are these two issues for wireless earbuds? They aren't too annoying yet, but I don't want to waste my money, either. Who knows if it will get worse?

I have never had either issue with wireless buds using this phone. Maybe it's the bud themselves. Have you tried another pair to see if the issue still occurs.

Using galaxy buds (silver and white) and Bose QS35-II I have not experienced any signal drop. Even roaming the house while the phone is at the table, the connection is rock solid. Must be your earphones

I only have one pair I just bought. Not sure if these are just defective or the brand isn't good. But I don't have any other pair to test. What are you using?
Maybe I'll contact the manufacturer.

I have Samsung level active, Motorola vervebuds, Spigen r12e and lg tones. I used to have the ones in the picture I posted. They were cheap but I still never had any issues. Screenshot_20200107-210742_Amazon%20Shopping.jpeg

I bought a set off Amazon and they did that also, can't remember the brand. My Samsung earbuds work fine. General rule is you get what you pay for most the time

Try and exchange them under warranty if possible, it goes without saying that most cheap/cheaper spurious brands are are not undergoing same quality control as the likes of Samsung, Sony or Jabra.
I have some MI copies I only paid 6.95 for and they work perfect and sound is really good.

I also noticed also problem: wifi connection gets dropped more constantly when the earbuds are paired. I just found out that wifi and bluetooth signal can interrupt each other. But how common is this? It happens a little too often for me in just one hour, that I am starting to think maybe this is the earbuds. But if my wifi is dropped so frequently, then it kinda destroys the purpose of using a wireless earbud to begin with.

One more thing: after I disconnect the earbuds, put still keep bluetooth on and not unpair them, they will automatically reconnect again after a few seconds even if I don't do anything. This can't be normal...?

I'm going to email the manufacturer for either a replacement or a refund. But this depends on how common these issues are with other budget brands. Now, if I am to get a refund and buy another brand, I'll choose the Xmyth. Too bad, this one had many recommendations, too.

My latest B&O E8 2.0 drops a lot if i put my phone in my pocket that i laughed at myself for buying these. Even my previous Galaxy Buds or Sony WF-1000XM3 didnt have this issue.

Using the Galaxy Buds and also Bluetooth to my car and don't have any signal drops. Not one.

Any issues with wifi being slow when watching videos on Youtube? Do they automatically reconnect even when you don't want to?

I'm not sure if I should give this another chance or go with another brand. Depends on how easy the return process is.

I have the Jabra elite active 65t and have not experienced any of the Bluetooth or WiFi issues that you reported. I kind of agree with the previous posters that it may be your ear buds causing the problem.

Though I think it is odd that your WiFi and Bluetooth are not working properly when actively using both.... Again I've never had that problem.

I would suggest trying a different pair of wireless ear buds, but go online to find ones that got good reviews by reputable sites that review hardware. You can find ones at all price points that will work fine. Just don't fully rely on Amazon reviews.

Well, Linus Tech Tips had this one in their top 4, so I thought it would be a good purchase. It might just be a defective pair, but so far I'm not hopeful...

If this one in particular disrupts wifi that badly, then I'll have to ask for a refund, there's no point in using it.

Do you earbuds automatically reconnect if you put them back into the case? This is another annoyance for me.

I hope Amazon doesn't ban me for returning products. XD Done this a few times already.
