How sensitive should the S-Pen be?

Currently with mine, it doesn't activate just from contact with the screen. I have to press it down to where the tip doesn't go in any further, and then add a slight amount of pressure on top of that. Is that how it's supposed to be?

Yeah, that's how mine is. I've read that it detects pressure (like you said) which is more noticeable in drawing. To get it to register for navigating will take a small amount of pressure

A slight tap on the screen is all you need. To write on a note takes very little pressure. To select a link on a website is just a tap,
