How strong is the s7 edge?

I'm in need of a new phone as my previous one won't restart. I know the note 7 just released a few days ago and has gorilla glass 5 but as someone who' s not residing in the U.S. it won't be available for me to purchase for at least another three months. I know the s7 edge has similar specs and is less expensive but can it survive a small drop or so? Just want to know how strong is the design in daily use.

It's glass. You drop it, it breaks. Should survive smaller bumps but I wouldn't drop it from heights..
