how stupid are iphone users??

;) He should have just asked Siri...

I'm sorry, I know that's wrong and this thread will probably be locked but every iPhone user I know just acts like they are so superior to everyone else. Lol, where I work, all of us in the IT shop have Android, management has iPhones.

LOL...What do you think of the management then?

My friends are all brainwashed and proudly admit as such.

It would be comical if it wasnt so pathetic.

Lol, that actually depends. In some ways they are smarter than me because they figured out how to climb the ladder and make more money than I! ;)

In reality, it isn't so much intelligence as it is attitude. They tend to act superior about things they know nothing about, like software development needs. Our department desperately needs updated tools in order for us to stay current with business requirements. Instead, we have antiquated equipment and 8 year old software development tools. It's like they want you to cut down a redwood tree with a nail file. Trying to explain anything technical to the vast majority of them is fruitless. Yet they tend to whip out those iPhones and have the gall to brag about how they have the more technically superior product yet couldn't begin to tell you why.

I had Androids and several iphones. We also highly recommend the use of an iphone at work because they are reliable. They also have better battery life than Android phones for the most part.

The iphone is easier to use and that is why a lot of people have them. They aren't complicated and WORK well for everything. Up until recently Apple has been ahead of Android in many areas and now Android O/S has caught up and is starting to get easier to use for users.

Now, we have no idea if that guy had a health problem. He could have had Dementia like my father has and they are known to do stuff like this. So please do not make fun of people like that.

I'm an iPhone user I guess that makes me stupid or am I ok because I own three android devices

I would never make fun of someone with a medical issue. My grandmother had dementia and it is very difficult for the family as well as the person. The article states that "Skopec was charged with obstructing or resisting a peace officer and police reportedly offered that he seemed a little the worse for alcoholic wear." Meaning, he was drunk.

Didn't you get the fanboi memo? You have to pick a side and if you pick the wrong side (apple), you're an idiot elitist prick who only chooses tech for fashions and trends.

Agreed...this argument over the two platforms is really tired now. Choice is a good thing, and completely subjective. And when there is a choice over a smartphone, one choice over another is not wrong or stupid, it's a subjective choice...that's it, nothing more. I love my Android Device (most of the time), and the customization/personalization, but I also love my iPod, which has worked flawlessly for years. The iPhone bores me, but the iPad is pretty awesome, and so are the Samsung Tablets. Let's move on. ;)

Today, 11/16/2011, CNN reported that an Iphone user called 911 to report the fact that his Iphone wasn't working. The conversation between the dispatcher and the Iphone user was quite entertaining.
