How to access menu?

App has no menu option. Phone has no menu button. Long pressing recent apps button only pulls up recent apps once released. Is there another way to access menu in this app? Phone is a zte lever 936l on android version 4.4.4.

Have you got a 3 vertical dot icon, or a hamburger / 3 horizontal lines icon that may draw a menu and settings option bar in from the left (usually).

Now a big question only you can answer:
which app are you referring to?

No 3 dots or lines or hamburger in the app. App is dxmobile.

Thanks. This app is for work. Our old phones had a menu button, new phone doesn't. Guess I need to talk to our it dept. Thanks.
