Hi,

I've had quite a few Android phones over the years so I forget if this is a native Android thing, or I got it from some other manufacturer's skin.

Anyway, I'd love to be able to add a delay to the lockscreen kicking in . Currently whenever my screen sleeps I have to unlock the phone to get back in (this in spite of having Smart Lock, which isn't working properly...).

Is there some way I can set it to no lock for x minutes? I know with some phone I had this ability, but can't seem to be able to do it on the N5X.

Thanks,
Toby.

Have you looked in settings... Lock screen and security? You have a delay settings in there...

That's the thing, I don't seem to have anywhere to select a delay. Here's my Security screen (and nothing off the bottom of this screen has anything, either).

Awwww heck, I just found it (!).

I'd been touching on the words "Screen lock", not realizing that the gear icon to the right has different functionality. It's in there... False alarm, sorry.

I have tried to utilize that setting, but my phone doesn't seem to respond to changing the delay setting...

Is it tied to power saving, perhaps?
