How to add lock slider short cuts on the Nexus 4

Alright I know about lock screen widgets, but what if I want simple shortcuts on the unlock slider button? like if i slide the lock icon in a certain direction I want to be able to access a particular app.... Ideas anyone?

Try widget locker from teslacoil (nova launcher dev)... Its beautiful and can help you customize the lock screen to your needs!

I use WidgetLocker with Nova Prime on my 4.

I love both and they just updated it that you can Swipe-from-the-Bezel on the lock screen. Left gives you access to your apps and Right launches the camera.
