How to add Old S Note Templates !

I finally got the old templates to work!!! 1st I went to the "Action Memo and S Note" thread and downloaded the apkmirror S Note from the link on the You tube video ( I did the link from my phone). Then I went to Galaxy apps and clicked no updates. I also downloaded the S Note widget apk. Then I went to the Play store and installed "Add S Note templates" (that is the name of the app). Then low and behold they were now on the S Note!! I also found that the Action Memo just showed up from the apk for S Note. I didn't have to upload any extra apks. Although I didn't upload the Button to add to the spen, just have it on the S Note widget. Every template works - the weekly planner is the best planner out there (I've look at them all). The Diary template allowed pictures, and entries about the day. I don't know if others would think this could replace the Photo Note they have been looking for, but it works great. I was able to share it no problem via Gmail etc. I can't tell you how excited I am to finally have my old S Note - with all the fabulous templates working. Hope this helps someone else!!

Very cool! Thanks for sharing. Curious tho, do you see them from within S Note? I don't. I have to open the "Add S Note" app, choose a template, which then opens in S Note. Not a big deal tho.

I am just saving each one into a "Template" folder/category, and will then copy to a new S Note as I need one.

I wonder if I can pull any off of my Mom's N3 when I replace it with my old N5. My husband had my old N4 before the N8, but isn't finished (over a month later, lol!) transferring everything to his N8. Maybe I can get more from that too...?

Your are right, if you press the "pen" icon it will go to the newer note "templates" (When you press Background - it gives you the newer templates that I hate). But if you start in the "Add S Note templates" it saves in the S Note, where you give it a folder etc. I am like you I don't mind that extra work to get the old templates!
As for getting them from another Note phone, I am not savey like that. Others have said you can do stuff like that, so you can do a search on here or You Tube to see how to do that.
I originally loaded the "Add S Note Templates" to go with the S Note in the Play Store, but they wouldn't load new pages, so I had pretty much given up hope. Then I tried the apk of S Note, and thought maybe the "Add S Note Templates" would work now, and it did. Glad you were able to get it to work as well!

I just checked out the version of S Note I have on my Note 12.2 and saw that there were over 50 templates available for download (I did download them).

I wonder if the "Add S Note Templates" dev can somehow extract them from the files on my tablet if I send it/them to him. Does anyone have any idea where they are stored.

You will want to go to apkmirror.com from your phone. Then search for S Note. You will go to the 12th page, because It was put on there in Oct. It has been since then, so I don't remember exactly. I uploaded the apk, and I think I uploaded widgets for it as well. After that, I went to the playstore and added "Add S Note templates". Hope this works. Go back and read the original thread for how to add the template you want to a folder. I haven't updated the apk, but I did update the general Software update, and everything still works.
