How to add weather widget to lock screen?

Hello.....I just upgraded my S5 to the S9+ phone. I am not using the "always on display". I am just using my lock screen. So how do I get a weather widget to show up on my lock screen? Maybe widget is not the correct word.

Second......when I got my S9+ the "always on display" was active. I saw a small weather icon (or widget) on that screen and deleted it from that screen. I decided I didn't want to see that on that "always on display" screen. Well now I would like to get it back. How the heck do I do that?

Jumping from OS 6.0 on my S5 to OS 8.0 on my S9+ is a big change for me so any help with these two issues would be appreciated. Thank you.

Settings>>Lock Screen And Security>>Clock And FaceWidgets>>FaceWidgets
Turn on Weather.
When you're on the lock screen, swipe on the clock and you'll see the weather widget.
As for the Always On Display, turn it on and when the phone is locked and showing the clock, double tap the clock and tap the little arrows to see the weather widget.

There is no Weather option under FaceWidgets on my S9+. Just Music Controller, Next alarm, and Today's schedule. Are you using the same phone?

I have a S9+ and there is a weather setting there as you have been adviced. Not that it's much use to me, I have a analogue clock set and to see the weather info I have to double tap it then a sideways scroll through the others I have set like music controls and so on to see it, practically useless.

Hello UdiBerry and Milt K.......THANK YOU so very much for the information. I never would have figured that out. Yes.....it works on both of those type of screens! Wahoo!!! It was driving me crazy!

As for the FaceWidgets......yes I show all four as shown in the screenshot. Weather included. Again....thank you!!

Weird I don't have it. What firmware versions are you guys on? I'm on the version ARJ6 with the Nov 1, 2018 security patches on a SD845 model. Thanks!

I don't believe it has anything to do with the updates but rather your carrier, most all if not all carriers mod the OS to add their only features, I'm unlocked and I'd bet you're with a carrier.

Like I stated it's not a good feature on my device, you're better off just having it on your home screen and using a somewhat long press on the home button to see the date and weather widget you have. I'm using pixel double bubble launcher and it has the weather on the home screen.

I'm also using an US unlocked S9+ running the stock U1 firmware. Using VZW as my carrier. Are you a running any third-party weather apps?

UdiBerry gave me the answer to my issue. I am good to go. Thanks to everyone for helping!

I have the option under Face Widgets, but the weather still does not show on my lockscreen. Oh well, I had hope for a minute there.

Hello. Look at the first post under Mojave. It's by UdiBerry. Tells you exactly how to see your weather widget on your lock screen and also on your "display always on".

It's showing up now. For some strange reason it did not show when I first tried it last night. Tried it again a few minutes ago and voila!
Thanks.

Lol...I still don't have it on my US unlocked S9+ running U1 firmware. Only shows Music controller, alarm, and schedule. I can get the weather widget to post on the homescreen though but no option for lockscreen. Dont have the option to download Good Lock 2018 to get the Lockstar app as well.

Take out your SIM, clear Galaxy apps cache, connect to VPN, download goodlock and related apps. Profit.

When I turned on weather for the lock screen, it didn't work. When I double tapped the time on my lock screen, it showed me the time , including the seconds.
