How to block voicemails on Samsung Galaxy S7

I have a pesty caller who I have blocked using the phone's blocking feature, however the pest can still leave a voicemail. I have tried using the app called Call Blocker Voicemail Blocker and it didn't work. Does anyone know what I can do?

I use Youmail and callers can be blocked outright and given personal messages

You have to block the number at your provider level. I don't know what companies offer, but VZW lets you block, I think, 5 numbers.

Very effective but not as fun as personalized messages without the ability to leave a message. I'd recommend saying hello multiple times then just have it cut the caller off. They'll think something might be wrong with their phone or yours
