Question how to bring back date view in calendar?

I dont know what happened, but google calendar shows me text date input instead of dateview like it used to, per default
So now everytime I have to click on button to show me dateview as I dont want to zse text view.

Is this new update? Now even with old versions (uninstall updates on phone), it shows me this view.

Idk who thought it was good idea just to take user's choice in this, and not provide some settings to change it. Is this like server side they did ?

They even bloated the icons ! I hate it!

When entering a new event and tapping on the date to select, I still get the little month view to select. What version of Google Calendar are you on? I'm on 2025.35.0-801587174

First screen when I open calendar is Day view. When I want to create event, and click, plus button, I'm presented with first screenshot attached.

And when I click on date , to select it, I get this (text based date insert) as default view.

When it should have been calendar view as default, like it was yesterday.

So everytime I need to press calendar button (circled in red), to show me normal calendar view.

but that calendar view is not default like it was yesterday.

I tried deleting all data, restarting phone. Downgrading to stock version phone came with but this text date is default for some reason now. It just occurred this morning , and haven't touched nothing on phone.

Got it so I understand it's not defaulting back to the calendar view. I know you said you reset app data but did you try to reboot the phone? I tried changing both online and I was able to keep whichever view of the date on that pop up was last defaulted

Yes, I've rebooted phone. Still same.

I haven't understood last sentence. In what way you've managed to change default view ? Online where?
