How to change back default sharing option

So on my S6 it always asked you if you wanted to use a particular app "one time" or "always." Now whatever you choose seems to be your permanent choice.

So I wanted to share a CNN story with someone and I did so using my messaging app, google messenger. Now every time I click the share symbol in a CNN story all I can do is share it with Google messenger. I want to send the story to someone else using email. How do I re-enable this option and delete this default to Google messenger?

This is discussed in the sticky FAQ. On the s7, there is no option for "one time". You can use an app like "better open with" which would work somewhat like the "one time" feature of the s6.

In Settings--Applications--Application Manager--Messenger, then 'clear defaults'
You can clear defaults but the next time you select an app, then that app would now be default. And you would have to go into settings again to clear it.

So, will this happen every time I choose a different way to share off CNN? Mine has done it now when I have shared to email and also to Twitter. I had to go into each application after and clear defaults. This will get old fast...haha.

By the way, Samsung put the "Once/Always" dialog box back in Touchwiz at some point last year.... (thread's 7 months old)

Why they took it out in the first place, I don't have the foggiest of clues.
