How to change camera cutout?

I see two choices for the camera cutout, but it does not let me switch to the hide camera cutout option?

You have to do it for each individual app.

Did you read post #2?

That's your answer. You have to set it for each and every app listed below the graphic sample. There is no global setting.

Settings > Display > Camera cutout > click on any app in the list > select your option. The default is "Auto", but there are the other options, "Show camera cutout" and "Hide camera cutout".
